The Sheriff’s Activities League is constantly striving to build strong, positive relationships between law enforcement and the communities we serve by providing resources to help youth in our community reach their full potential. Our vision is to build a strong continuous bond between law enforcement and youth to foster a safe and supportive environment for families within San Mateo County. The Sheriff’s Activities League is making a difference for the youth in San Mateo County with the following initiatives:
The Sheriff's Activities League is a unique program within San Mateo County that creates a continuous bond between law enforcement, youth, and the communities we serve.

of youth live below the poverty line and would benefit from services offered by SAL but staffing and logistic issues are a significant hurdle.

youth in San Mateo County are in need of tutoring and literacy programs.
