Sandra Sencion
Coast Program Director
Sandra Sencion has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University and is currently working on her master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy counseling from the University of San Francisco. She has been working for the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office since 2017. She currently runs the mentoring programs on the Coast, which includes: Empowering Young Women, Teen Leadership Council, and Cougar Buddies. Additionally, she oversees the Moonridge Reading Stars program, and Junior Police Academies. Sandra is fully committed on serving her community on the Coast and supporting the youth to be successful.

Jennifer Gutierrez Padilla
After School Sports Program Coordinator
Jennifer has a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Ethics, Justice, and Policy studies. She has been working for the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League since 2017. Jennifer runs our afterschool sports programs in North Fair Oaks. She runs programs such as Volleyball, Basketball, and Flag Football. She is in charge of running our SAL 4th-5th grade Soccer League, as well as our 6th-8th grade Soccer League. Jennifer helps run with our Lunchtime Soccer and Soccer for Success program. Her main focus is to encourage our youth to stay active and have fun. Jennifer believes that sports opened many doors for her as a youth that ultimately allowed her to pursue a higher education and she would like to do the same for all our youth.

Cinthya Ibarra Sanchez
Nutrition and Health Program Coordinator
Cinthya Ibarra Sanchez has a bachelor’s degree in from San Jose State University for Justice Studies. While starting off as an intern, she has been working for the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League in 2019. She currently runs the Healthy Kids Programs for the office, which includes lunch-time and after school nutrition classes. She is involved in other programs like tutoring for ages K through 12. Cinthya is fully committed to introducing healthy eating habits so that our new generations who are the future of the world, maintain healthy lifestyles.

Mason Lok
Leadership Program Coordinator
Mason Lok started his involvement with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League as a youth member. After graduating from high school, Mason was hired by SAL in 2013 to run the leadership program he was involved in. Mason currently runs the Teen Leadership Programs for high school students throughout San Mateo County. He is also involved in coordinating community service events and conference trips. Mason is fully committed to developing youth in our community to be future leaders through social emotional learning as well as providing the community with resources, opportunities, and assistance.
