Are you the kind of coach you would want your child to be coached by? If so, we have coaching opportunities for you!

San Mateo County Sheriff's Activities League (S.A.L.) believes sports should be fun regardless of whether a team wins or looses or a player is a star or an infrequent player. By becoming a S.A.L. coach, you take on the role of educator and role model. It is important to teach your players the fundamental skills and strategies necessary for success in their sport, but it is equally important that you create the playing atmosphere in which players have fun, give a good effort and accept the results in a sportsmanlike manner. Your tone; your respectful treatment of players, parents, other coaches and officials; and your modeling of fair play and sportsmanship set the example for your players, parents and your fans.

We greatly appreciate your willingness to coach and to be such a role model for S.A.L.'s youth.
